Location: Photos 1 and 2 were taken in Balboa Park in San Diego, CA.
Fun Facts: Did you know that the foxglove flower, also known as Digitalis, was not only grown for decoration, but was used for herbal medicinal purposes?
Dimensions: Foxgloves grow up to 5′ tall and 1′ wide. Phew I am still taller
Important note: They grow well in pots or where the ground drains well because they are prone to rot. Also, make sure not to overcrowd them because of leaf spot.
Question: Does anyone know what other colors these come in and where they can be found? (I am curious because I heard that they come in different shades.)
